"The A Talks", was created by popular French filmmakers - Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano, directors of the touching and thought-provoking film "The Untouchables".
This is a unique project to which people on the autism spectrum are invited to participate in. Under the supervision of professionals and after substantive preparation, they conduct interviews with respected and widely known figures from the world of politics, media and art. Moderator Maciej Stuhr accompanies them throughout the entire process. The guests of the first two episodes are Robert Makłowicz and Natalia Kukulska.
Nearly 50 people on the autism spectrum will take part in "The Authentics" show. These are people who want to try their hand at journalism. Each episode is a meeting with a different famous person. Of course, the interview itself is preceded by appropriate preparation. The participants start by working independently on the documentation provided to them about the guests and select questions. Next they meet with professionals who share their experience and properly prepare them for the task at hand. During the entire process, participants receive substantive and workshop support. The aim is to make them feel safe and equip them to fulfil their new role as best as possible.
The show provides a unique platform for both the viewers and star guests to learn more and better understand the reality of people on the spectrum. During the interviews, there are both loose and non-binding topics, as well as difficult and demanding ones. Famous and popular individuals who have given hundreds of interviews will experience a completely different relationship with the interviewer. These meetings will be a special and intimate experience for everyone involved - participants, stars and viewers.
All those invited to the project will jointly take part in a conversation with the invited guest. They will be supervised by Maciej Stuhr - actor, director and screenwriter, columnist, presenter, academic lecturer and psychologist. His wide range of competences, combined with his special empathy, make him a perfect fit as the meeting moderator. Having got to know the participants and their needs, he helps them engage and actively participate in interviews with the guests.
