The format comes from the Jimmy Fallon Show, in which the hosts and invited stars "lip sync" selected songs. The winner is the person who chooses and performs the chosen song in the most surprising way. In the Polish version, the program is hosted by Natalia Jakuła and Piotr Kędzierski. The backstage of the program is produced by Abstrachuje, who will surprise not only Internet users, but also the creators of the show.
Since its premiere on the American Spike channel, the show "Lip Sync Battle" has broken viewing records. The premiere episode was watched by 2.2 million viewers. Within 9 weeks, "Lip Sync Battle" became number 1 in terms of viewership on the networks of cable television operators, in the adults aged 18-49 category. It also achieved a staggering 177 million views on the Spike Network, Facebook and YouTube platforms. The clip with Anne Hathaway playing the role of Miley Cyrus in the song "Wrecking Ball" was viewed 15 million times. In the Polish version of the show, performances are not repeated, so viewers will be able to watch all unforeseen situations.
